Default d15b8 with d16y8 head which ecu and timming belt question?

anyone know which ecu and timing belt to use for this setup? ive searched but not much on these 2 mostly just d16z6 head and d15. lmk thanks

i'm assuming this is in a 92-95?

if my assumption is correct then you should be able to use a b8/b7/b2/b1 timing belt and p28/ p08 or chipped and vtec'd p06 ecu.

now i may be wrong but i believe if you use the stock y8 cam gear your cam timing is going to be off...i think if you used a 88-95 gear it will correct this...

I had this EXACT setup, Check my sig for the write-up

D16Z6 timing belt, I ran a Chipped P05 ECU converted to Vtec. http://www.phearable.net, sent my stock ECU in with $100 and got back a ECU for that setup.

Be aware of the 'half tooth' error with Y8 heads on D15 blocks, the Z6 mini-me is ALOT easier and alot more reliable.

oh yeah i forgot generally you use the timing belt for the head you are using (generally)
