Sounds like a battery problem... Does the car run fine for a lond period of time once you get it started? If so you need a battery...

i had the same weird problem, and the ground wire on the tranny was loose. i didnt think that it would have made a difference, but sure enough i tightened it and problem fixed.

Re: weird car wont start problem (P.Heez)
I have the answer !!!!!
I tried to get help on the same damn problem for over a year for my son's '95 Civic. We tried all of the numerous fixes such a ground straps, starter, battery. Even considered replacing the ignition control module, but since we could roll start the car I figured it was not the module. Then it hit mer. What is the one component between your ignition switch and the starter? The starter interrupt swith at the top of the clutch lever !!!!!!!
I pulled the plug off of the switch, stuck in a paper clip and the car fired right up !!!!
You can try adjusting the switch to get it closer to the lever, you could add something to the lever to make up the difference, or you can bypass it altogether with a short wire connecting the sockets in the plug. We taped the paper clip in place... I know that is a little ghetto, but it is REALLY hard to get your hands up in there. (I know, that's what she said...)
I hope this helps all of you with the weird "won't start" problems.
