Want to "slam" my car

Want to "slam" my car
or atleast lower it alot. I bought my EK off a guy about 2 months ago. It is already lowered, but not too much im not sure what kind of suspension it has he gave me a box that said "skunk 2" and there are like red bars under the wheel well. But it looks stock in the back atleast from what I can tell. So I was wondering what do I need to drop it a couple more inches? I really like the "slammed" look. Also I heard if I lower my car it will mess something up. I dont want to damage anything.
EDIT: I recently put new wheels/tires on
The wheels are 16" rota GT3
The tires are 205 40 r16
EDIT: Here are some pics I just took, excuse the body work im doing a front end conversion =P
Here is the suspension in the front the back looks stock

Re: Want to "slam" my car
well to slam it for a cheap price take it to your local exhaust shop and have them heat your springs.LOLjkjk. just by coil overs and nothing will go wrong when you lower it. just be careful not to damage your oil pan.

x2 on the coil overs. That camber kit will be your tires best friend once you do lower it. Just adjust it all the way out and the inside of your tires wont wear as fast. Also you will want to take it and get an alignment done to correst the caster of the tires to. That also plays a big part in the drivability and tire wear

you dont need a camber kit at all just an alignment you just need the toe set and youll be good to go. but since you allready got it thats a plus. and you dont need to buy a rear camber kit youll be fine with an alignment but if you dont want camber in the rear just stick 2 washers behind each bolt on the rear arm it will push your camber out you might need longer bolts too. i did that to a slamed coupe and the rear camber was dead on.

you either buy coilovers or get lower lowering springs. on coilovers you can adjust the hight of the car to what ever you want. when your all done go get an alignment thats the most important part of it.

Re: Want to "slam" my car
Camber kits are not necessary and most aftermarket front upper control arms reduce travel because the ball joint sticks up. like black0hatch said, just get an alignment with toe set to 0. camber doesnt wear tires as much as toe. Be aware that having a very low car makes it nearly impossible to drive most places. 1.5-2 inches is the most you should lower most cars to retain driveability and still have decent suspension geometry so it doesnt reduce the cars handling. Being too low just creates problems like damaging body parts and more importantly oil pan is very close to the ground and wheels/tires can contact the body. Keep the drop moderate and you will have a much better car to drive.

Re: Want to "slam" my car
You won't be slammed if you go an inch lower. And if you buy 300 dollar coilovers, your ride will be as tasteful as ****. IF it already has coilovers (google a picture of a coilover), then you can adjust it yourself by lowering the two spin discs. It will go as low as the coilover is...but your wheels won't be very happy with that. Its hard to adjust to driving a dumped car, so if you really want to go that low, I would suggest that you lower it little by little, learning about speedbumps and dips. Learning what the JDM tilt would be a wonderful idea as well

Re: Want to "slam" my car
No. You have to manually adjust all four coilovers. There is a coilover on each wheel.
EDIT: If for whatever reason there are only coilovers on the front, please raise it to stock height and match the rear suspension. you do NOT want to drive with a lowered front and stock rear...It will look dumb and have shitty ride

Re: Want to "slam" my car
I can say do not go much lower. I slammed a vehicle once, I drive it daily and it rides like garbage. Does it look cool yes, is it nice when you go over small bumps no, I would just get some nice wheels on it.
