Default is this a vacum leak?

my car have an idle problem the past month now. it idles from 300-1300 when cold, and 300-500 when warm.

engine also vibrates roughly sometimes. been idle hunting for days.

the main thing ive noticed is everytime i press on my brake pedal, my idle goes up by 300 rpm++. like if im at idle at a stop light, without pressing the gas and brake pedal, it would be at 400 lets say... then when i press on the brake pedal, it bumps it to like 700 or 800.

this problem ive diagnosed by accident and was wondering if it consist of a vacum leak within the hoses? or maybe my brake booster is going bad?

++ another thing, i flipped my brake booster upside down 180 degress cause i did a wire tuck/ hose tuck because of that ugly hose. and also, does that affect the vacum/ brake booster to be weak or cause a problem?

any help gladly appreciated! *thumbs up*

The check valve in the hose leading to the brake booster may be bad.

if you have a vacum leak the engine would idle really high.
