Default TRANNY PROBLEMS PLEASE HELP!!!

hello everyone i was having some problems removing my tranny to replace the clutch. i have removed all bolts, the starter and some motor mounts to free the tranny, but for some reason the tranny still remains stuck to the engine. can you guys give me tips????? by the way its a 92 civic hatch d16. thanx

Either you missed a bolt (there's one on the backside that goes in the opposite way as the rest) or the dowel pins are stuck, carefully tap a bit on the front where the engine and transmission meet and see if it starts to separate then pry carefully with a large screwdriver or prybar.

k thanx for the help yeah i got it all out now hahahah i forgot to take of the starter...
do you know how much you have to torque down the pressure plate???

hey everyone i am still going through some issues with this tranny. the clutch pedal gets stuck in the bottom. i replaced the master cylinder, the slave cylinder and nothing. one thing i did notice is that the clutch fork is really lose and it wont push back the slave cylinder when the clutch is released. do you guys know wat could of gone wrong???

It's possible you didn't get the clutch fork seated properly on the ball it piviots on (be sure to grease this pivot point with some hi-temp grease as well) or may not have gotten the release/throwout bearing under the release fork properly. The pics don't really tell us anything unfortunately, speaking of which I edited your post so the pics display.

I didnt see you post about the hose that connects from the master to the slave. Has that been replaced?

i didint replace the hose because all of that is working properly... the problem that im having is that the clutch fork wont push back the pin in the slave cylinder. thats why my pedal gets stuck. thanx for the help 94eg8! is there anything esl i should take a picture so it can make it easyer to identify???

Don't rule out that flex hose, sometimes they separate inside and the inner layers collapse and wont let fluid back through, doesn't happen often but it can. Take pictures with the release fork and throwout bearing together and on the transmission (with the transmission still off the car) if you can.

oh thanx for everything 94EG8 i just fixed everything i looked the fork in like you said and wen i started to bleed the clutch it started working great!!!. thanx for the help
