Timing belt and waterpump
Hi. I have a 99 Honda Civic LX. I am thinking in replacing my water pump and timing belt. I called NAPA and they told me they carry "Gates" timing belt for $34.99 and "TrueFlow" water pump for $74.19.
Does anyone know what kind of quality Gates timing belt and TrueFlow water pump are? Should I replace the timing belt and water pump with OEM or aftermarket parts?

Gates is good stuff, always has been. I believe Trueflow has been around for a while too.
OEM will cost you about another $40.00
Do you have the manual : http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/

u should also replace the tension pulley and the front main seal while u have everything apart in that area and give a good look at your other belts and make sure u dont need to replace them
