Thermostat
now I believe im right, but the thermostat is connected to the radiator, but the EJ1 has one or 2? cause buddy of mine has a EJ1 98 SOHC VTEC motor and hes having problems with the thermostat and he knows he needs a new one, so does he have just one or 2?

Follow the lower radiator hose. You'll find the the hose connecting to the outlet, unscrew two or three screws to take thse housing off and then you'll see thermostat.
