Ordered an ek9 grille but realized I didnt order the front cover lol. Said **** it and installed it anyways (the grill cover for the USDM CX civic doesnt fit). Put a new badge on it too.

Added daytime running lights and rebuffed the headlights. Once it's complete, I'll share the photos.

Tried to fix a squeaky fork and slave cylinder. With the tools I have and limited space it was a bitch just to take off. Turns out the boots are all worn out and the grease is gone, so I greased it a bit but Ill need to redo the job and replace the boots.
In the middle of it, the apartment staff where I live said I can't work on my car in the car ports as its a danger to those around. -_-

Bought it.... okay, I bought it yesterday, not today. 94 CX parts ***** I picked up for the R134a A/C system.
He wanted $500. I lowballed the **** out of him and practically stole it. Part out thread to follow.
She's not pretty but has a decent value in parts.

Installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge in 2 of my ek hatches because they both had electric and one was reading 0psi at idle. The mechanical auto meters are great and thankfully it was a gauge issue not a mechanical issue. I feel like I dodged a bullet. Mechanical from here on out in all my cars

Installed new Spoon 5spd shift ****. Was getting annoyed with my weighted Blox ****. Now I dont have to cover the shifter with a tower after leaving the car out in the sun for a little.

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Half success, half failure. Got my new grille molding in, and replaced my broken hood release cable (it feels like I gotta really pull it out for it to release though I'm wondering if its because its not OEM?).
The failure. I decided to finally install some side markers. The hardest part, the dremeling turned out to be quite easy and my cuts were clean. I made the cuts small so that I could just continue dremeling to get a tight fit. However, I was fitting the side markers backwards as I did this and didnt realize until I was done. So I installed them backwards .
As I previously mentioned, the paint job on my car has been flaking off really bad; when I pulled the painters tape off the right side of my fender after cutting, a huge chunk of paint went with it since I am planning on getting the car repainted anyways I just quickly went over it with a brush and touch up paint i was using for the cuts to prevent rust. It looks bad though in bright lighting.
And finally, after a few hours of working straight with no food or water (I was on borrowed time at a friends garage and wanted to quickly finish everything), I thought I would just quickly get the wiring setup, but one of the bulbs was dead, so I didnt do one side. The other side, I mixed up my colors and tapped into the red and ground, so the side marker is always on when the headlights come on and it doesnt blink. I am guessing the red is the headlight, green is the turn signal, and black is ground. Since I am not happy with the hack job wiring I did anyways, Im going to redo it next weekend. Yipee.
Pics for luls:
Oh that looks good right?
Oh. And its backwards. GG
At least I didnt put the molding backwards.
