That might explain why you couldn't find it. It wasn't really there just the specs. Eh, the head probably has to come off anyway, so I might just do that after I do the leakdown test.

Lmao I thought maybe you forgot to put it in there but didn't wanna call you out and end up being a jackass. You had low compression in cylinder two iirc? You ever find out what was causing it?

Not yet, borrowing an air compressor from work today to do a leakdown. Really hoping the head doesn't have to come off, but I can't think of a scenario that it wouldn't.

Can't believe I posted the toolbox but didn't post the LCA's / subframe brace / header / and exhaust.

First I got rid of this ****


and replaced it with Progress CS-II 450F/550R and Function7 LCAs and subframe brace



Then I took it to Mandrel bending Solutions in Pasadena, MD (Look em up, they're apparently THE place for performance exhausts on the east coast) and had Greg run 2.5" 409SS from the new Skunk2 Alpha header through a MBS Performance 200CPSI cat into a MBS Performance resonator then out the back through a Magnaflow muffler. There's a SS v-band at the rear axle for easy removal.




Just stripped, sanded, primered, painted, and cleared the rear sway bar. All my suspension bars are going to be Milano Red to match the car. So far just the DC front subframe brace is installed.


This will probably go on on Monday. Wanna let it dry a day longer first.

Finally put on my wheels, New suspension, and my cheapO eBay lca's. I didn't want to run them but I had no choice. I found my car still had the original shocks and the bolts had seized on the bushings. Anyway I'm hapor how it turned out. Oh yeah I swapped in an EX cluster and ran a stainless steel exhaust too.

Washed/polished/waxed my ride in 93* heat, spent four hours on it. Even polished the headlights.

Weather guy says 20-30% chance of rain.

I had a bunch planned for my personal car this weekend, but i took on two side jobs (trans/clutch in an EK, headgasket in a DC) that took up the entire shop, so I couldnt use my lift

Put that rear sway on on Memorial Day. Got the front half painted and ran out of paint LOL.

Removed front LCA's and all brackets from the 99 for stripping, media blasting, and hopefully powder coating soon.
I got the rest of my engine bay brackets off / replaced, they'll get coated soon as well and put back in, once everything is nice and pretty, the freshly rebuilt A2 will be going back in with original transmission.

Maaaaan, I finally F*CKIN' finish installing my polished tranny today, after sanding and polishing it. It's been about 2-3 months of gruelling work. I try to put about an hour or so each day in finishing the polished transmission, even after work.
