Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
I've contemplated doing the K swap since the summer for my EK too.
Deals for swaps have gone sour, sellers are "just too busy to do compression/leak down tests", or prices are way too high. It's got me discouraged to be honest.
This is all for a K20A2, was supposed to end up being a K24 FranK build.
I've sourced out a B20Z2, already own ITR head, IM, & various B swap parts.
Leaning towards the B20V again...
Should I settle or continue with the K search?
I know the present/future is the K, but it's been nothing but headaches for me so far.
Price wise they're close to par, but the potential for the K is so tempting!

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
I ordered too many parts to list for it, and none of it is fun stuff. On the bright side I'll (hopefully) have a totally reliable del Sol that doesn't leak anything soon. The front suspension will be getting a refresh too. On the front left wheel the wheel bearing jiggles more than Nicki Minaj's ***, the outer tie rod is just... done, and the LCA bushings are non existant. It doesn't track straight to say the least.
I also just replaced the brake booster line between the manifold and the bracket on the firewall. Turns out it had rotted away basically in half at the nipple where it attaches to the intake manifold. It fixed the idle issues I was having, the car runs smoother, and the brakes work even better now.

Started my GSR swap as well as swapping the auto tranny and converting it to manual in my 92 hatch. Excited to see and hear the final result!

Finished installing the last piece of my rear leather seats. been waiting for this for a few months. I can now say my EK hatch has full leather seats. here are some pics.

I considered re-upholstering, but it was too much money. I rather save the money for an engine swap.
I also just noticed the backrest looks loose too, but that's how it is. At least, that is how I got it.

no, the backrest is from a coupe integra and the bottom from a 4 door integra. the bottom looks loose because it fits a little tight in there. but It is secured and looks better than the coupe one I had before it.the coupe bottom cushion was too small and left an empty gap between it and the backrest. that looked ugly. front seats are rsx type S.
