starter isnt getting power
its a 1994 civic coupe...ok, so yesturday morning when i woke up to go to work my car wouldnt start...i immediately knew it was my starter b/c of the noise it made...anyway i got a new starter for free and put it on and still wouldnt start....but this time it was b/c my starter wasnt getting power...the hot wire from the battery to the starter wasnt getting a good connection so i put a washer btwn that wire and the starter and it started up fine...ran the whole day today with no problems....so tonite i was at my g/fs house and when i left the damn thing didnt start...so her dad push started me and i drove it home...turned it off, cranked it to see if it would start by any chance and still didnt start...so i took that hot wire off and put a 2nd washer in there, tightend it back up and it started again....so im not sure why my starter gets power one minute, then the next it isnt...the wiring isnt bad, never had a problem with this car till now...please help guys, idk what it is gonna do in the morning lol
thanks
