no it cant be the gasket from the intake manifold. If that was the case then you would have coolant leaks all over.

It could however be the throttle body gasket. Double check that

When i got the TB gasket i got it 4 a Y8. should i of gotten a B16 one??

spray a little carb cleanner around the gasket with the motor running you are going to find the idle stumble and get rough. that is your leak in the gasket.

i say this from experience i have done it, it happens. if you used a honda gasket (which you should) unless you use a heatsheild gasket, you don't need any kind of gasket maker or any other sealant on it. just the gasket by its self.

and the Y8 TB gasket is the same as the B16.

when i did a IM swap on my car i had the same problem and that was the cause and it was confirmed by checking with carb cleaner.

the coolant is only transvered on the one port on the passenger side of the head, that is it. so if you get it to seal around that there would be no coolant leak, bbut could still be leaking air

mine did the same thing and all i changed was the iacv that goes under the tb not behind the manifold and problem fixed

there is no IACV that goes under the TB except for on the automatic trans models which is a three wire not a two wire like on the maunuel trans models. if you changed that you would have to de-pin one of the wires at the ECU and have the correct plug to switch for the three wire, and even in doing that i don't think that would fix something such a vacuum leak unless that was what was leaking in the first place.

the FIVC is underneatht the TB in some earlier models. is that what you are talking about?

It's hard to tell from your video but did you hook up the brake booster vacuum line on the back of the manifold? the clamp is nnt on but if the line is on i doubt it would cause a leak, here's a pic what i'm talking about circled in red

Ok well the TB only has 1 hole an when i plug it up it still idles like that so idk wat that means

EDIT: ok nvm i pushed a lil harder with my finger on the hole an it stoped every time!!! so wat should i do now???

in your video it looked like you forgot to plug up a vaccum outlet right at the end by the booster. if that's not the cause you can try this take your intake of stick your finger in the throttle body there is a hole cover it with your finger if it solves it just make a gasket with a hole so the butterfly can open onj the throttle body .

That wat i said the problem was! i check that last night an it fixed it. but how do i go about on fixin that now??

OK well problem fixed. i gut took off the TB an sprayed the **** out of the IACV wit carb cleaner an now its good.
