Right now i have a d16y7 engine non vtec in my 96 honda civic ex sedan automatic. I am trying to do some research on the ZC SOHC engine but i do not kno what it is short form for something? I believe it is non vtec but thats about it. Is it better than what i have now and how much do those cost???

why did your ex have a non-vtec motor in there? that's just weird, but the zc is actually a bit stronger than your y7 that you got in the car right now. just try to find an obd2 to make it easier. gl

yea im not sure my ex had a y7 non vtec instead of the y8 vtec. Is the ZC SOHC vtec? because on another borad some1 said I can swap one in no problem even though my current engine is non vtec. I just recently go inot civics when I bought one from some1 so all of this is very new to me.
