racing camshaft problem?

racing camshaft problem?
i'v replaced my original cams with a racing one and now i'm facing a problem which its when the RPM reachs 5400 to start the vtec the engine starts to cut out any one knows why? URGENT PLEASE

could be a few things. I`d check your oil level 1st just to be on the safe side.
btw, I just noticed your sig. I have no idea what you have so I`m going to assume it`s a b16 since you said "cams". Which cams? CTR/ITR need tuning if you are boosted.

no here is the problem
your vtec starts to early for the cam to make power so the engine bogs
you need a vtec controller and to turn it up higher in the rpm band.
