Default Question, Y8 Mani in to AUTO d16y7 Engine.

Recently i bought a manual manifold which is the y8 and im trying to swap it into my AUTO d16y7 engine what i realize is that the y8 has a IACV on the back, Do i have to use this IACV or i can simply remove it? Because all the DIY threads i seen doesn't even have IACV on them...

Has anyone did a y7 to y8 mani swap before and can give me any tips.

Car Specs
d16y7 Engine AUTO
1998 LX

&
I bought the y8 with everything on is so i have all the things i need for this swap to go easy.

Block the IACV on the back of the IM off and reuse the Y7 throttlebody. You will need a pulley from a Y8 throttlebody (most other D-series engines should work actually)

Also, use the Y7 injectors.

You need the pulley from a Y8, also the throttle cable (cable needs to come from an automatic, the pedal end is different.
