Re: Polyurthane Bushings!
I've had ES bushings (Black) on my EG6 for around 8 years, granted it hasn't been a daily in the last 4 years, I do not have any noise related issues. Ofcourse I bought an extra tub of ES lube so I can liberally apply during installation.

Re: Polyurthane Bushings!
Here is a pic shows how much lube I used back then. Although this was when I was installing the ingals camber kit but you can see the ES lube ozing out and I haven't even pushed the bolt all the way through. (Wow the pic taken 09/2003 brings back the good old days. I don't even have that suspension, exhaust & swaybar anymore and the ingals camber kits looks so new.)

Getting the original bushings out is the tough part (you might need a press for this if you don't want to cut the bushings and hammer them out). Putting new ES bushings is easy (I pushed them with my hand and a little help from the hammer).

I lubed mine up good with that grease they come with and they never squeaked. I used a Dremel and a chisel to get the bushing sleeves out, except for the RTA's, which I replaced with OEM using the RTA bushing tool.

i removed mine myself and thought it was very easy i used a hole saw to cut out the metal sleeve and most the rubber, then you just use a sawzall to cut through the metal sleave in 2 spots about a 1/4 inch apart and then it will tap right out. I hate paying for something I could do myself and the guys at the shops I called told me 60+ to do it.

I learned a lesson about installing ES bushings. They will not last very long. I had some on my 00 Civic Si from 2004-2006 when I sold the car. Next owner mentioned all the pieces were shredded. Granted this was also my autocross car, but 2 years? I had the reds and they also squeaked a bit.
I heard from ES the black ones have graphite in them.

Re: Polyurthane Bushings!
If you have access to a press then that would be the easiest way. Granted the press has to be at least a 10 ton one. I did it myself and bought a 6 ton harbor frieght press. . . . . . . needless to say that did not have enough umph! Ended up using hand tools.
