Default Odd screeching noise

I have a 95 del sol si and lately whenever I take off I hear a semi loud screeching noise. My friend told me it might be the throw out bearing on my clutch but I'm not for sure. Another friend told me that it might be a axle or joint. Has anyone had this problem before? It also will screech sometimes in gear. Thanks for the help guys!

We'll it's not the engine because it will idle fine and rev up ok. It's either tranny or suspension. Sorry for not being specific.

One trick you can do is to put it up on jack stands so the wheels are off the ground, then you can "drive" it through the gears without the car going anywhere and someone can actually help pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

If you can't duplicate the sound with the wheels off the ground then it's more likely a wheel bearing sort of issue being the weight has been removed from the wheels.

Hope this tip helps.
