New B18b swap in my eg what to do??
Ok well today i should be getting my car back with my new swap. I opted for a b18b because it actually has torque not like a b16..LoL. With that in mind im actually thinking of going turbo on the stock engine. So i guess ill be pushing about 8psi or so.
Even though ive also tought of N/A but seems expensive for what its worth. Any pointers on what kind of setup to get would be appreciated. Itll just have bolt ons for now. Might even opt for ls/v but im affraid of its reliability.
LS engine people chime in and shed some light on me...
TIA

Re: New B18b swap in my eg what to do??
LS swap on 8-10 PSI of boost properly tuned should be a great daily driver-street/strip car for sure. LS-V=even better, especially if your not gonna do much besides bolt-ons. 8-10PSI of boost isn't much so the stock rods should be ok, if you start to turn up the boost I would go to some aftermarket internals and retainers and dual valve springs etc...

BUMP...
I need a good suggestion for a header. I feel naked withouth one. Might go buy one soon but would like to know what the best bang for buck. I was thinking RMF replica. But 400 is kind of high cuz im gonna go turbo so the header will be off after. Is a maybe used DC 4-2-1 header better than the OEM?

for the price of going ls vtec you might as well just put a turbo and change your springs retainers and valves as well that my friend will be that best bang for your buck
