NEED SOME HELP W/ MY SWAP??? Clutch Prob....
I have a 93 cx hatch. I just recently swap a d16z6 into my hatch and I put in a new ACT 6 puck clutch sprung ones using stock cx pressureplate and flywheel.
Anyways problem im having is that whenever I shift into first gear or any gear i have to step down on the clutch half way and if I step down on the clutch pedal all the way it wouldn't go in. When I take off on firt gear I have to let go of the clutch pedal almost all the way for the car to start moving. Also when im in any gear and I step down on the clutch pedal all the way down it wouldn't let me out of gear also.
What do you think it is?
I think it could be the stock cx pressure plat im using or that I need to adjust my clutch pedal.
HELP PLEASE!!!

seriously
why did you use a stock pressure plate with a 6 puck, i dont think it has the clamping power for a 6 puck.

doing things the right way is a lesson some have to learn the hard way... I would first go and get the correct pressure plate, next I would double check your lines and make sure they are bleed, autozone has a one man bleeder for like 3 bucks. if all that doesn't work go to the pedal adjustment...

I would agree with the pressure plate issue. Using a stock CX PP with a 6-puck clutch sounds like a bad idea to me.

So what I did so far is bleed the clutch and adj the gas pedal and still doesn't do anything.
So im guessing it's the pressure plate.
What do you guys think?

Do you mean adjust the clutch pedal?
I would check the pressure plate next. Sounds like you've done everything else possible. I guess you could make sure to check the master cylinder and slave cylinder. Good luck.
