here's the deal...im building a z6 block for boost..i already have eagle rods, vitara pistons, and arp head studs. i have all the basic bolt on mods... I/E, underdrive pulley, and b&m fuel pressure regulator.

MY QUESTION IS THIS... would it be safe to drive the car for a while without having the turbo on? I wasnt sure b/c the pistons are low compression. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Low Compression?? How much??
And how long might you be driving it untuned?? Maybe you can have someone Streetune it local for a very low cost, for temp use.

nope, lol.. meant arp by the way... and i think the compression is 8:5:1...

you'll probably run rich since the stock fuel maps are for higher compression and o2 sensor and only do so much to adjust the fuel. just get a quick streetune if you're driving on it for more than a week.
