NEED DIY( how to adjust ignition timing on sohc ? TIMING MARK ? GUN ?
ok, i know how to adjust the ignition timing which is by turning the distributor, but how do i check it ? were to shoot the gun ? on my h series theres a timing spot under the engine code, but were is it on the d series ?

cspeedracing.com has i think But: short the ecu service connector (like to get codes). Start the car, hook the timing gun up to No.1 cylinder. If you look down the side of the plastic tbelt cover to the crank pulley from the right side of the motor mount you will see gun sights (platsic of course). Point the timing gun on the pulley and look through the gun sights on the tbelt cover. Adjust the dizzy to get the middle timing mark (theres only 3) in the gun sights
