for some reason when im driving my car when i shift to first gear its good but when i shift to 2nd gear it grinds and makes this horrible noise and all the other gears is good just 2nd gear it makes a noise what can it possibly be?? would i have to buy a new clutch or new transmission i just want to get rid of that noise

its either your synchro's or the 2nd gear itself happens a lot from cool kids shifting at like 8k everywhere they go and you either need a new tranny or rebuild it but since your asking for help probally don't got the exp. to do it so just buy a used tranny and a new clutch and call it a day and if a shop installs it your looking at like 1500 with just labor shops rape ppl

it has to be your tranny... i think if its just the clutch it would happen to other gears but since your saying its only for 2nd gear it seems to be your tranny

if yours is making the same noise mine was... you might have broken parts... mine sounded like some one was holding a bolt to my pressure plate or something... i cracked open the trans case, my 1-2 gear selector had a chunk broken out of it and both my diff bearings are bad. still waiting on new bearings...

what exactly is this "noise" cuz a grind is justy the sycro but a clunk of some sort is the gear...and if u got all the stuff and
are in the pa area by chance i'll change it for cheap as dirt! i've done 6 trannys before, and no not all were mine lol. try this
before u get freaked out, bleed clutch, change tranny fluid with possibly some syncro mesh...gl
