Default Megan Headers

So does anyone know anything about the Megan Racing 4-1 headers? I found some on ebay that are 4-1 and are stainless steel. Right now I have DC 4-2-1 headers on a 99 Civic Si...with JR Supercharger. Somone that i work with said I would get better performance with a 4-1 header. So anyone know if the Megan ones are good?

Anything is helpful?!

Megan Racing only sells 4-2-1 headers, at least from this years stock.. I bought one for my car and it works well with the drift spec MG cat-back exhaust I bought. Not much diffy from stock though.

Save up for turbo instead, that's what I'm doing.

I'd buy them. I like the looks of the construction. And IMO it's the best way to make a 4-1 header. It seems like it would have excellent ground clearance which is uncommon for typical 4-1's.

And it's cheap too.

thats exactly what they look like! isn' that sonsidered a 4-1 header? i mean if you want to get technical, its 4-2 but isn't that one just welded one piece instead of bolt on.

here is the link for the ones on ebay...plus they are 190, and that includes shipping

i had the same headers and got raped at the speedshop for them. they only lasted less than 8 months and the back half from the o2 plug to the flange snapped on me at the track.

If you going to bother with the time and expense of installing a new header, I'd choose something that will provide a decent increase in performance. The Kamikaze is a good low-cost option that has been proven to perform well on supercharged setups, though a better (and more expensive) header will obviously provide even better gains.
