just replaced ac compressor, make lot of noise.
so i just replaced a used compressor and drove it to autozone to get some compressor oil and freon, after i charged them and drove down the block, it stared making crazy noise from the compressor. it blow cold so i know the ac system is work but it make so loud noise, what is wrong with it and do i need to replace another compressor? or maybe i did not have enough oil in it? i bought a small can of oil and thought would be enough

What year?
Bad or wrong compressor?
Did you drain and evacuate the system prior to adding the refrigerant and oil?
How much oil did you add? What type of oil?

why did you replace the compressor? if the compressor had any metal shavings you would need to completly clean all the lines "before" installing any new compressor.

sounds like you replaced one bad compressor with another bad compressor. Replace it one more time maybe you will get lucky next. i know the noise ur talking about and that is the noise of the bearing in the clutch sounding nasty.
0 ya, and it will lock up and you will loose the belt you probably just bought if you dont do it soon.
