Default Noisy A/C compressor

In November, I hit a small flying rock going triple digit speeds in Mexico (don't ask). It hit the condensor, punctured it, everything leaked out. Didn't even realize it happened until 4 hours later when I finally got home, and the AC coming out the vents was warm.

The next day, I had the condensor replaced, system vacuumed, and recharged by my dads friend mechanic. He has the nice SnapOn A/C machine to do it. I asked about the dryer/reciever and he said it didn't need to be replaced.

I usually fix things myself but A/C is definitely not for me.

Anyways, so he did the job, I have a new condensor and cold AC, i came back 3 days later to get the compressor oil put in the system, he put the entire small can of compressor oil in the system, and it has been working fine.

Fast forward to today. The compressor under the hood makes noticeable straining/clicking noise with A/C on.

I would describe the noise as TRRRRRRR (rolling your tongue) and its noticeable from inside and outside of the car. Like baseball cards hitting spokes on a bike wheel going down a hill.

AC still works fine, just the compressor is noisy.

Its also very dirty from off roading. Can I clean it?

I dont remember if it made the noise from day 1 or not, but it has become annoying, wanted to see what you guys think.
