Re: Inconsistent Idle
I have a brand new IACV as of December. Can you explain why it would be injector related and what causes it? The engine is just free spinning. Why would stopping affect it based on my speed?

Re: Inconsistent Idle
you need consistent flow of fuel to your pistons or something like that. if your injectors are dirty your engine wont be running properly. something like that, i'm not a mechanic.
i agree. oxygen sensor is also very important

Re: Inconsistent Idle
Seem to have fixed my issue by replacing the alternator and checking all the grounds. Tested voltage at battery with headlights and blower motor on and was getting 13.7v but soon as I did any other load it dropped it down to 12.8. Went through the Helms flow chart and saw it was reading under 50 amps. Replaced the alternator and idle is now consistent and where it should be!

Re: Inconsistent Idle
How very interesting. Stupid old alternators I suppose. Looks like I'll invest into looking at this when I do my timing belt in May. It's not giving me actual issues yet but it's super annoying.
