Default hum coming from back pass. wheel?

I recently started getting a humming on my back passenger wheel on my del sol, I can't put my finger on it but thats where it sounds like its coming from.

Any idea's? Its not all the time but only when im rolling obviously and it'll be there one day and the next I won't hear it. Could it be my tire? its not balanced i beleive or possibly my rear caliper(yes they're disc)?

you'd have to pull the knuckle off, get the bearing pressed/pulled (however its done) and then inspected. best bet is to take it to a shop unless you know what you are looking for, but it does sound like it's a wheel bearing issue.

wrong.

rear wheel bearings are actually extremely simple to install- a beginner can do it in under an hour-
-jack car up, remove said wheel
-remove dustshield, tie caliper up, remove caliper bracket, remove rotor
-pop off hub nut cover
-unstake 32mm nut, remove
- the wheel bearing assembly should come right out, replace and re install--

please note, that unlike front wheel bearings the rear ones are purchased as a complete assembly, with the studs and all.

ah the fronts are a different story.. complete bitch- this summer i did all 4 wheel bearings on my hatch. wasnt fun doing the fronts lol

I bought mine from advanced- i think it was 85 each rear assembly, and then 50 or so for each front set of bearings, plus youd need labor or a press to put them in.

the way to tell, usualy at higher speeds the grinding humming noise gets louder- make sure nothign is dragging, or yoru caliper isnt sticking first tho-

no but like i said its not constant its once in a while at variable speeds, the sound doesn't change whether I speed up or slow down unless i slow to like 5mph it stops

thats why its so dam weird.. and i dont think its the caliper because im not feeling any pull when i hear it and its not like a squeak

I need a dam garage.. 30 degrees is to dam cold and i have **** to attend to lol

Sometimes a wheel bearing will only make noise at a certain speed- My stratus made a noise around 65+
below that it would be fine

id just take it to a shop and have them diagnose it, then do it yourself ya know>?
