how to remove driver side engine mount easier?
I'm going to remove the two 17mm bolts from the driver side engine mount. Just wondering if I should jack up the car or do anything to make it easier?
Doing this to install engine damper. I've never done this before. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

the easiest way i found was to relieve the pressure put on the mount by jackin up the engine. or another way you could do it could be to hoist the right side of the engine up, either way works, just my .02 cents. gl!

I've always been paranoid about jacking up the motor. If you can use a hoist, I would. Or get a good thick piece of wood to spread the load out better.
While you're at it, if you're about due for the timing belt, it wouldn't be a bad time to change it.

use a piece of wood between the jack and the oil pan, lifted a bit unloose the 17mm bolts and the torque mount as well if you have one, once this is done lift up a bit more and take out the bolt going thu the motor mount then your done.
