how to put a obd2 b20 vtec in a 95 obd1 coupe?
the b20 vtec im looking at buying is obd2 my 95 coupe EX is obd1 obviously so what all do i need to do for it to work without swapping the insides of distributors out

if your short on cash and have an obd2 alternator u can always convert it to obd1 by soldering the certain color wires,but u need the plug from the obd2 harness. i dont know the exact color to color chart but thats what i did swapping a obd2 motor in my obd1 civic.
its not hard to do but if your swap came with an obd2 harness u can cut it and convert it.

I am working on putting in a B16B into my 93 civic Ex. I am studying the wiring from the D16Z6 and The CTR B16B. It is possible the use the OBD 2a wiring harness but there is some wiring that will need fabrication. I am starting to lean toward using the OBD 1 to OBD 2a conversion harness. There are adapters for the injectors. This is more popular than fabricating your own conversion harness. I want to use the factory ECU because it is set up for my Type R engine performance.
