How do you reset the Maintenance Required Light?
I tried to search, but couldn't find another similar thread.
I have searched my daughters Owners Manual but could not find how to reset the Maintenance Required lamp. I do all the oil changes and maintenance for her, but I can't reset the lamp.
Any help is appreciated.

Take the key out of the ignition. Push and hold the trip button on the cluster. Put the key in and turn the ignition on. The light will go out after 10 or so seconds. Turn the key off, then finally, release the trip button.

Easy.
Take your right hand and reach behind the kick panel just under your steering column and feel for a square button. Push it and hold it in until the light goes out. Works with the car on or the key turned in the "on" position just before cranking the car.

Stick the key into the little slot in the cluster next to the little indicatior that cycles from green, to yellow, then red and you'll feel it "click" as it turns back to green.
It's not really a "light" on those cars.

We do have a lot of very knowledgable people here and for the most part the forum can be very helpful.
As long as the topic starter states a clear, well thought out question like you did there is usually a quick, correct answer that follows quickly.
I'm glad we could be of service, and please feel free to post any other questions, or if you see a question that you can help with then we welcome your help. I see that you are a master tech too - good to have some extra knowledge around here.
Merry Christmas to you too.
