Default Honda crate motor!

I was flipping through the latest Sport Compact Car, in it they have covage of the int'l Auto Salon. I came across a pic of a Honda block on a crate which gets my attention. Mr. Gaskets have a new Honda B series crate motor. It's a 2.0 that puts 220 hp to the wheel and a 12 month 12,000 warranty which is nice. Now whats not so nice is the price, 12k to 15k . Would anyone here pay that much for one of these motors.

Maybe if I was spending someone elses money
I would have to see one of these engines in person and investigate alittle before even thinking of shilling out that much cash for a new crate engine offering. IMO time will tell if this is a good deal or not.

I think those would be killer base turbo engines! If they can support 20 psi of boost, they will be worth it!

I would........ if it made 350lbs of torque. Otherwise it's a waste of money IMO.
