Hit a pothole. Weird intermittent screeching noise. Help?
I was driving 40mph and hit a pretty big pothole in the road. My wheel started making this screeching noise, kind of like the noise that your brakes make when they're worn down. It went away after 20 seconds though. Later on, it came back. I hit the brakes to see if that would help, but it did not. Again, it went away. I looked at the wheel and nothing is obvious to me that could be rubbing. Anyone have any idea what could have happened and how to fix it? Thanks.

i think the metal guard thing behind the disc got bent. mine did that after sitting on the ground without wheels. i bent it back with a screw driver.
