Dude!! just leave your car outdoors when is really really hot get inside the car with a blad and cut a little piece of the tinting and peel off that's all
I know your glass will be sticky... use soap (tide) and hot wateand wipe off .... do not cut the defrost lines what so ever !!
is easy !!!
don't pay 30 bucks ... not even $20 !!!

It Worked Just Like You Would Think It Did. Peeled Write Off. But The Second Layer Does Not Peel Of It Just Brakes In 1/4" Triangles When You Try To Pull At It. YES When Its Hot.

I Have Cleaned All Of The Glue Off Of The Back Of The Bottom Layer Already. I Cleaned It Off With Soap, Water, And Windex.
I Know How To Take Tint Off Conventionally, However This Is A Second Layer Tint. It Has Been "Burnt" On.
How Do I Take This ****** Tint Off!!!

read my original post. Its not a second layer of tint, its the glue that held the tint on.

Re: help remove rear tint (92ehatch)
put some amonia in a spray bottle (mixed with some water of course) spray the rear window down real good...get a black trash bag and tape it over the window..let it sit in the sun for about an hour and half (longer if its cool outside) and the tint should fall off pretty easy....you might have a little glue left, but it can be pulled off...

Re: help remove rear tint (AnotherEJ)
Well After 3 Days Of Trying To Remove This Tint I Finally Broke Down And Brought To A Tint Shop. I Was Able To Talk Them Down To $30 Which Isn't Horrible I Suppose. It Took Him Over 2hrs With The Use Of A Steamer To Get All Of The Tint Off. And Still He Had To Use A Razor Blade Over The Defroster Insulators To Get The Tint Off That Had Been Burned On To The Defroster Lines.
Bottom Line=DO NOT Get Tint Double Layered If You Plan On Taking It Off. EVER!

Re: (4DRDB8GSR)
man u got screwed. U paid and they still ruined your defrost lines? You could have done that for free yourself.
I used a razor blade and got it all off myself. It did take me two hours but I didn't mess up one defrost line. You just have to be careful.

Worked Perfect On The First Layer Of Tint, However This Was A Second Layer Of Tint And Was "Burnt" On. Even So I Don't Feel As Though I Was Ripped Off. I Made More Money Being At Work For 2-1/2 Hrs Than Sweating Inside Of An Integra For Hours. So It Is What It Is. If Anyone Knows Where To Buy Defroster Rebuild Kits Let Me Know, Please.
