Re: cant see far
Do you have the correct bulbs in them? Are they perfectly clear or do they have some fogging on them? Do you have them aimed correctly? Do you have the all the wires attached correctly? Is your alternator putting out the correct voltage....
Too many questions....answer some of them and I will try to help you out.

Re: cant see far
Are they retrofitted into the stock glass headlights? If you didnt smooth out the inside of all those lines, theyre going to do what they were designed to do. Which is to diffuse the light coming from the bulbs.

Well those lights are just the generic ebay ones. That's probably a big part. Those projectors are designed for halogen bulbs, not HID. Second if they cheaped out and used those housings then the HID kit probably came off eBay also, which is the other part of your problem.

Re: Headlight adjustment
Here is the HID kit I have. The previous owner installed it, but I'm very pleased with it. I have to get a set of projector retrofits myself. Only thing with the EM/EJ/EK's are they headlights look retarded with the retrofit in it and the ebay lights are hideous/crappy.

Keep the head lights you have and just buy some projector lenses (from a TSX, or other stock HID car) to retrofit in them. Check eBay they are all over the place. Hit up google for "projector retrofit" for a DIY. I would probably do this step first, might be a little happier even with a bad HID kit.
