I've personally always gone OEM on my own cars but when we're doing work on the everyday customer car we use aftermarket parts alot and I've never had any problems. I think it depends of weather or not your using those parts for there intended purpose (stock daily driving) or if your trying to use them to build yourself a performance engine LOL

All in all I think if you can afford the OEM parts use them.

Gates makes the OEM timing belts...
Stick with OEM for water and oil pumps, valve guides if using stock valves, some gaskets are cheaper from Honda...such as head gaskets.
