i think the motor u ave now is a good one, but i can tell u my twin brother and i have an eg and an ek with h22s. we love them both. his eg is a 95 dx he has striped the car on the inside and has done a few things to the transmition. he has a 9 lb flywheel and a stage 3 clutch and a lsd. at the 1/8 of mile track he runs around a 9.3. I think that was his best time. and then if thats not fast enough our friend has an eg also with a h22 and he turboed his. he just got it running night before las t and that thing is friggin crazy fast. i think your idea is not a bad one, the only thing is that motor swap requires a little more parts and labor, although we did ours by ourselves. well everything but the wireing harness. good luck man, let us know how it turns out.

What your missing is torque. That type of set up is all for top end. You could put a B18 or even a B20 block and keep the head and youll be happy.

But if you really want to go with a H22 then youll need alot of work done. Search the site and see what you want. But when you get the H22 you lose most of the top end that your feeling and you get alot of torque.

If i was you i would put the B20 block wiht your head that you have now on it. That should keep you pretty happy.

I think that you should do the b20 block also.. that would be good for torque and your b16b head is good for top end...

thanks a lot!
i was going to do the b20 block but
the h22 is for free and the only thing im paying is intallation in a shop so i get garanteed for intalation like if anything happened they replace it for free
thats why im really doing the h22.

how is it on suspension the eg with the h22?
can you control it really good?
