gsr swap engine problems?
i just did a gsr swap in my ek its been running for a week now and it was running really good but now it isnt as good
1.every morning its getting harder to fire my car up it cranks for a cple seconds then fires up as to when i first did the swap itd fire rite up
2.i installed an o2 sensor yesterday and before this i was able to rev past 7k so i unplugged the o2 reset ecu and still have this problem and running a stock p72 obd1 ecu i have a obd2 to obd1 jumper
3.i have a idle problem it idles arnd 2k and drops to 1500 in goes back up any thing i should check to as why it would do this

code 6 is causing my idle to do this?
and how do u fix the code 22 my oil level is good and my wiring is good what else should i do clean it out?and could this be to as why my rev limiter was kicking in at 6700

plugs are knew may need to gap them ,dizzy not sure bought at a salvage yard,wires may be bad i just bought them but my spark plug cover pinched one of the wires but now u cant see where it was pinched

What problems persist after fixing CEL code 6?
Remove the distributor cap and inspect the contact points inside the cap and on the rotor for wear and corrosion. Clean or replace as necessary.

after fixing 6 i cant tell a diffrence in anything my idle jumps arnd for a cple seconds then rest at 1k so may be it helped that...im still getting cel 22 i checked my wiring and oil level in its good after fixing the cel 6 it hit rev limiter twice at only like 3500-4000 rpms its never done it that early and when it did this my cel would turn off then back on

sometimes the TPS sensor can end up loose a bit or come undone and screw up your redline. I had that issue and my rev limiter kicked in at 3500. Wouldn't worry too much about O2 sensor and plugs. Might want to check your vtec solenoid though. Problems with that or a short to ground may be trying to advance the timing and having that vtec lobe try to drop as its at lower rpms giving you the constant rpm fluctuation. It's worth a shot though. How old is the motor?

i switched out map sensors its not red lining at 3500-4000 now so i just need to figure out abt the cel 22 what all should i check so i can fix this?so far ive checked plugs, checked solenoid it clicked,checked wiring,checked oil level its good,ive even cleaned the vtec pressure switch and solenoid.
