got a ticket for a loud exaust and i only have a greddy sp2 WTF!?!

Mine was for "Modified Exhaust" and for that here in FL they don't give a fix it ticket. It's just a ticket plain and simple. He mainly pulled me over for speeding but was nice and said my exhaust was too loud.

yea i got a ticket in elgin when i was runnin wide open test pipe in my old 4dr and i told the cop it was broke and then it got dropped in court when i showed him the ESTIMATE from Midas to replace it all, lmao it never got replaced. Ohhhhh and wud up tyler

but thanks for the advice guys. This may be a n00b question but does anyone know where the state emissions REFF is?? i was told i could go there to get it sound and smog tested.

If you contest it in court they will probably be like "Is the exhaust aftermarket" and then bam, you still have to pay the ticket. Try and talk to the DA before you go in and see if he can reduce it. Thats what I always end up doing.

Also, I just got my car inspected at Meineke, with the same loud *** exhaust thats on it right now. When I went to ask the guys whether it passed or not, the guy just looks at me with a big dumb smile on his face and goes "That car's special."
But it passed
