front end "jerks" while driving. tie rods? ball joints?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
about 2 weeks ago i noticed a SLIGHT "jerk" in the wheel around 70-80 mph
it did it 2-3 times on my home from work. It didnt do it again until today.
it did it 3-4 times while driving on the HW and was doing it repeatidly while doing normal 30-40mph driving.
while driving straight it will SLIGHTLY jerk (feel it in the steering wheel) but it wouldnt move the car on the road. (i had a death grip on the wheel the whole way home lol)
could it be tie rods? or ball joints?
this car is a 5spd was an auto to manual swap (not by me)
i dont have a back up car to drive will have to drive my wifes car while mine is down and if its going to be something thats going to take a bunch of time to do i may just have to take it to a shop b/c i cant be down too long.

Re: front end question
Perhaps a bad tie rod? Jack up the front and see if you can move the tire, feel for any play.
While you're down there, look for torn bushings, torn tie rod boots, etc.

the "tire" test was like less than a inch of play nothing eratic or anything....
i was backing it up last night to get the SI wheels off to sell them and I'm am getting a weird clunking noise from under the car? i think it all could be an axle or something
its too cold and wet to crawl under it i think i am going to take it to a shop
