Fixed my Freeway-shaking problem... you gotta read this! (long)
Well first of all THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP everyone that contributed to my last post here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=621422
OKAY, well everyone though it was the axles and so did I but when i replaced them the problem was still there!
BUT YES, it was th axles! the passenger side to be exact! Turns out that by a freak coincidence (this has got to be like 1/1,000,000) i got a "remanifactured" (by monkeys with down syndrome ) with the EXACT SAME BROKEN BEARING! WTF and the worst part is you can't tell by feel! only once it's in!
I just hope nobody nice gets one of my 2 bad axles i returned over a 2 day period (the people at Kragen think i'm nuts!)
by the way did i say kragen axles suck!
anyways i took it down earlier today to "Honda Hospital" <---best place ever
they co-owner of the store went on a little freeway ride with me and he told me he was 90% sure it was the passenger side axle... then i told him that i replaced it already and he was confused but told me to get another one... so i did! thank you sir!
they didn't even charge me for the ride along. i picked up some HONDA manual transmission fluid while i was there and some crush washers...
if you didn't already know, HMTF is the shizznizzle! i made my tranny feel a LOT smoother over 10w30 motor oil... so go get some if you aren't running it yet!
anyways i'm going to have a or maybe
I love my civic!
oh and my girlfriend Mary for helping me by standing on the brake a couple times for me.
thanks again my fellow honda-techies!
heres to you guys
i'm going to clean all this damn oil/grease/dirt off me and go make spaghetti with my girl friend.
