1993 civic hatch vx

ok my first question i wanted to make sure i have the 100 percent correct answer is what color wire do i cut? its a 93 civic hatch.

and my second question is will i beable to do the same as this guy did in his crx write up?

is there anyway doing this could cause a electrical fire? im understand this write up perfectally but ive only done minor wiring on the trucks i work on so i dont know what can/cant cause a fire

if its the same color youre good to go
and if you cover the bare wire with electrical tape nothing will catch on fire

i read on another site its a yellow wire with a green stripe. can anyone verify?

in his he didn't use a relay... so idk if its a must? I have a 3A @ 125VAC to 1.5A @ 250VAC switch im gonna put on mine soon, and i hope it will be good enough.

(according to cause for alarm, a relay is only necessary when you lengthen the wires more than 5 feet.)
