Default Engine cuts out for split second

97 Civic LX 278K miles.

This started two days ago.

After the car has been running and i have been driving 3-5 minutes after it has been sitting (before & after work) while under power (on the freeway or a side street) the engine will cut out for a split second just long enough for the rpm's to drop from 3k to 1k and then it jumps back to 3k and its fine. I am not losing any electrical power, radio stays on, lights etc....No check codes are thrown. The car just jerks for that split second and then it's fine.

My guess is i need to replace my fuel filter. Does anyone have any ideas? The car starts fine every time and idles and drives no problem other than this one time thing every trip.

The work i've done on the car in the last two months.

Oil change
Air filter
ECT sensor
