eg platform =Del Sol Platform?
Okay, Noob question. Can I swap over my complete H swap in a EG into the del sol without buying anything new? Did honda use the same frame platform? I know its a branch of the civic replacing basically the crx. Will it run better in the sol or the same as in the EG.

the motor will run the same no matter what car its in. umm u would need new hasport mounts only one that can be universal is driver side. and no the 2 cars are diff in many ways. and delsols are heavier than eg's if its a hatch.

If you already have the H-series in your EG then no you don't need anything else to get it in the Del Sol. And its a H-series its going to pull pretty hard in any honda you put it in. lol

No you are wrong, you put it in the sol and it instantly increased Horsepower DUH! Put it in the sol, not very many 22es in sol's

Ahhhh that is clean, certified and everything. I was talking about the h22 sol to h22 civic ratio. Very nice swap any pictures.

Re: eg platform =Del Sol Platform?
ahhhhhhh I like I like (badge) and I miss Cali lol. So I wouldn't need anything new to swap it from my EG to the Sol right? Engine bay is the same I suppose. How's the traction on the sol with h22 and it being a t-top. Does it affect anything since it's a t-top? I'm in the high 12's with the hatch so possibly low 13's with the sol/moderate strip to the car and light weight reduction? What are your times at the track "Bar'dH22"? how does the car handle from the civic? Man I'm really considering the swap into the Sol!

Re: eg platform =Del Sol Platform?
seems like the cables need more clearance.. any help is greatly aprreciated. using a prelude shift linkage right now.
the transmission end is fine because we can move the **** on tranny to shift gears but.. from the **** -->cable----->shifter doesn't shift
hopefully we can just take the front dash off... and not take the whole motor out
