eBay Swaybar end links - good or junk?
I have a 1997 Acura 1.6 EL and i am in need of new sway bar end links, front and back.
Up here in Canada, they are like $150 per end link or somehting like that...it is crazy. However on eBay you can get a complete set for $60 or $70. I know that these are not OEM, but for 1/8 the price are they worth it?
What are your opinions on getting a complete set of 2 front and 2 back links for $70? Am I just buying junk?

I did it for $80-90 with blox adjustable endlinks. Failed in a year.
Have you taken a look at Hardrace endlinks? They are about 60 a set.
OR, order from a US dealer. Will likely be around $50 a link.

I know this depends on driving habits, but how long should OEM links last?
I don't drive like a maniac and avoid potholes 99% of the time.
I Put in some eBay links about 18 months ago. Just noticed a clunking noise about a couple weeks back.
Here is a link to complete end link set. I know they aren't eBay but they are generally about the same price:

The oem links should last lifetime as on my 98 accord with 300k km, but cannot stand up the speed bump and potholes abuses.
I replaced my EK rear sway links with Blox for $50/pair. No more broken link.

^Ya, generally when you replace a broken part, the end result is that it is no longer broken.
I guess i will rephrase my question: Is it common to have to replace sway bar end links every year or two? Or is it more common to replace every 3 or 4 years?
If others out there report having to change OEM links every 24 months or so, i will just get another set of eBay end links and accept the fact that they only last 18 months. But if OEM last 48 months or more then that is another story.

As long as you aren't jumping or doing something that would damage the link no.
The people that are saying the OEM links are done in 2 years, are they lowered?
