Default driving with no vtec

hey I have a b16a3 and I broke the vtec oil pressure switch. i ordered a new one and it's in the mail.

i have to be in court tomorrow morning, and i'm wondering if it's okay to drive my car without vtec.

because the switch is busted, vtec is disabled.

can i drive to court like this or will it damage my car?

I don't think so. Just stay away from high rpms where vtec actually kicks in. About 5500 rpms right?

**** me. it's all i can say.

i forgot to put the broken sensor back into the head. all the oil sprayed out and the car started shaking and pinging loudly. 1/4 mile from my destination it died and sounds as if it may have siezed.

i had to leave it, can't miss this court date - important thing to make.

sprinted 1/4 mile to friend's house and borrowed car/made court. just towed my car back home and it barely cranks 2 hours later.
