Re: Do I need to bleed brakes?
you only have to bleed the brakes if you opened the system. if you took the line off the caliper or theres a leak. and no, it takes two people or a special kit, and the kits are crap.

Re: Do I need to bleed brakes?
The car is jacked up still. First time changing pads i know it supposed to be simple so n00b lol. But now i put the pads in then put the lower bolt back on. I got in and pushed the pedal it was really soft then kept pushing and it got really hard.?? To where i can barely push the brake. That was when I still had the cap off the brake fluid reservoir.

Re: Do I need to bleed brakes?
it was easy at first because you were pushing the caliper cylinders back out into the pad. (you pushed them in to put the new pads in right?) and it got hard when they finally hit the pad. start the car, the booster makes 1000% differant. FYI when the pedal is too hard, its never air in the system.
