You aren't going any faster with that motor within your limitations, period. Yes, you can drop a Y8 head on your motor fairly easily, but you'll also need a new ECU. A stock P2P ECU (stock D16Y8 ECU) should be able to run that, as well.
If you actually want to be faster, a swap or FI is a necessity. Period.

Re: D15Z6 upgrade?!?
read faqs... also there is no such thing as a b16y8... you have a sohc d series. You won't get much power out of a header. d series don't gain as much powers with bolt ons as other engines.

Re: D15Z6 upgrade?!?
Not sure why one would need a Y8 ECU to use a Y8 head.
Anyway...OP....D series engines don't respond well to bolt on mods. The best/cheapest mod for a D series is a B series.

Re: D15Z6 upgrade?!?
OP, you can make it loud but without any forced induction on a d-series it wont be fast. Then again, it all depends what you clarify as being fast.

Re: D15Z6 upgrade?!?
Nobody caught this yet? OP there is no D15z6 engine. There's a D16Z6 though. And you want you're car loud and fast? straight pipe the exhaust and strap on a 75 shot of nitrous. You'll get about 3000 miles out of the engine before it explodes.
Or you could do a long, very expensive N/A build that would be very unrewarding.
