Default d15z1 afr readings road tune

i installed the wideband controller yesterday to learn how it operates.

so far from driving around the city i get
15.7 at idle
16.8 at part throttle accelerating
12.4 at wot
16.5 or so i get while cruising on the freeway.

are those normal for z1 engine? it is not original p07 ecu
i have it in automatic civic with chipped/ vtec aded P06 ecu
using a basemap from pgmfi wiki.

also if anyone knows a good read about road tune throw a link in here please. ive been reading about it but still dont understand what needs to be done and what numbers should be.

it seems like when i step on it it gets leaner unless i push it all the way ..

theres no O2 sensor hoked up yet because i cant figure out the wiring harness.

where can i read about the fuel and ignition maps ?

ive been hangin out on pgmfi but didnt find what i was looking for ...
now im reading the article on hondata webpage but it doesnt seem like much is explained about the actual fuel and ignition tables.

i want to learn how to tune on that car. where can i read more in depth article about tuning with crome? and all the options that are in advance tables list.
right now i just stare at the tables and dont know what to do with the readings.

rich from rich tuned said i dont need an o2 sensor but from few discussion forums i red that its better to tune and then have o2 enabled.
