Coolant Overflow Issues Anyone..??

thanx for the post bro but yeah, this is the 2nd motor the car has done this too... and i drove in the car that this motor came out of plenty times never overflowed boiled ect...

Probably the cap or radiator are damaged.

Go to autozone, and buy a length of coolant line the same size as your heater core hose and just by-pass it. Its literally just that simple. You by-pass it by un attaching both heater core hoses, and buying a length of hose long enough to 'loop' the 2 water necks.

why? you can just cap the ports...

Because you'd be impressed by just how much pressure the coolant system can be under, and its just as easy to run a new hose.

I've actually BLOWN a radiator with a mini-me from capping a port.

i live in south florida we dont have winter lol... i looped the 2 last night so today once i get home from work ill check the fluid, hopefully its all there an not boiling... thanx guys, ill post back w/ update..

ok so with bypassed heater core and a brand new radiator + cap its still losing coolant.. i smell a faint bit of coolant sometimes when im driving... i cant tell if its exhaust or not but i'd imagine it is... i guess it could be my headgasket even tho all tests show its not, and it its an entirely different motor and still same exact problem... wtf..!!!!!!!!! =(

so i seen some smoke comin from the thermostat area and it smelled like coolant, however i couldnt find a leak anywhere..???
