i never said they didnt make a dohc d series, dohc zc motors are dinosaurs and pretty obsolete now days so i assumed he was asking about a b series head...... assume = ***,u,me. and since you know sooooo much about d series why dont you enlighten us all on whether or not he can put dohc zc head on his d15 block and if there would be any pros or cons to this.

chiming in, heard the zc should work, not the most practical way to make power, boost your d. my 2 cents.

You can put the ZC DOHC head or the A6 head on a D15B7 and such, but it requires some tweaking. At first I didn't believe it, and then I saw it on a website some guy from like Europe made. It's not as straight forward as a minime, and won't yield the power of a B series swap.

I am 99.99% sure it will not work!

it does not matter if its a k,h,b or d head if its dohc it will not work with a d15 period!

this is like the b20a's that come out of the 89-91 preludes they are b motors yet nothing is alike nor will work from any other b-series from the ef,da,eg,dc,ek!

the dohc d series is the same idea as the b20a its the odd ball motor and does not share similiar bolt patterns, you might be able to extensively rework it but I have never heard of it nor would it make sense to do so!
